This is episode 3 of PetaCast, “Creative Biography, or Who and What Am I and Where Did I Come From?”
In the first two episodes I discussed what I liked and disliked and explained my reasoning for all that hullabaloot. Incidentally, don’t google or attempt to eat balut.
In This Episode I discuss my creative biography, starting from my early musical influences, growing up in Canada, going to college in New York, list many of my musical and entertainment influences, discuss how I developed my musical writing and recording process, the release of my first album, comedians who have influenced me, the creation and flow of ideas, and my current websites and upcoming projects.
The cover image is the Edmonton river valley with the Muttart Pyramids in the foreground and Downtown Edmonton in the background, superimposed over the block I lived on in Greenpoint Brooklyn, my loft on the left.
Stay tuned for Episode 4 where I interview a living human being. I realize this is not a revolutionary concept but I will try to make it as least-useless and as most-entertainable as plausible.
Please leave a comment here or on YouTube. Let me know what you don’t like about all this chicanery and insincerity! Let me have it. Be a jerk, but be a hilarious jerk.
